A GCN trip to Chicueyaco

Posted by mikeonpurpose on June 9, 2010

Last April, Jennifer Larson blogged about her trip with Global Citizens Network (GCN) to the Nahua community of Chicueyaco, Mexico .   She does graphic design for GCN and her photographs from the trip are beautiful.

I went on a GCN trip to the same region a few months before that, although the trip I took involved working in the nearby village of Xiloxochico.  GCN partners with local organizations in both of these communities and in either case volunteers stay in the nearby town of Cuetzalan.  The trip was amazing and inspirational and has much to do with why I started this blog.
